Rescue assistance
Operational assistance to people in critical situations
When critical situations arise that threaten health or life, inspectors and volunteers of our unit take part in providing operational assistance and individual support until the critical situation is resolved.
Assistance is provided within available capabilities, with the involvement of relevant emergency and specialized services when necessary.
Winter evacuation of people experiencing homelessness
One practical area of our rescue-related work is direct participation in evacuating people experiencing homelessness from city streets during critically low temperatures.
- Identifying people in conditions that threaten life or health.
- Providing operational assistance and arranging transport to warming centers.
- Transport to prepared municipal and community social centers.
- Cooperation with municipal institutions, public organizations and specialized services.
- Individual support until the person is safely accommodated.
